NLC president, Joe Ajaro arrested in Owerri By Gov Hope Uzodinma after 
Unleashing mayhem on protesting workers in Owerri city by political thugs.

Ajaero was picked up from the NLC State Council Secretariat by heavily armed policemen in Owerri and taken to an unknown destination.

The NLC is leading a statewide protest and strike in Owerri over what it described as lack of respect for workers, unpaid salaries, amongst others.

Breaking News: A fearless Bar Emperor Ogbonna decried the humiliation military men subjected the commuters along the Southeastern Nigerian roads and call on the federal government to look into the situation.

Over the last few months after the presidential election which saw Ahmed Tinubu emerging as the nation's president, military men have moved in to Southeastern Nigeria and blocked many roads near their check points. Commuters have been made to trekk to the last military check point before embarking on the bus while their driver driving their bus empty until it gets to where they are waiting for it. Few weeks ago, Mr John Okafor was all over the internet with the news of his ill-health , calling and pleading Nigerians to come to his aid as his means of survival was being drained financially and at that time,he was in the hospital. Luckily for him, some good spirited Nigerians volunteered to save him by doing crownd fund raising. Enough money was raised in his favour even the former Senator president used his foundation to foot John Okafors hospital bill but sadly, despite the enormous fund raised ,his health kept declining until his family came and thanked Nigerians for all the financial help rendered for their own and informed Nigerians that they were planning to fly him abroad for medical care. Just few hours ago, we are shocked to hear that one of his legs has been amputed and they need our prayers for his recuperation.
